As a mother and a surgeon, I will be the first to tell you that convincing myself to go to the gym isn’t always easy. Luckily my life is pretty organized and runs on a routine, but there are definitely moments where I have to drag myself to those double doors and force myself to work out.

You already failed at your resolutions (no matter what they are). That part of your life is over now. But, every single gym session is a step in the right direction. So what have you go to lose?

Valentines Day is around the corner. If you work out a lot until then, you won’t feel so bad eating your weight in chocolate and wine, while ugly-crying into your Netflix account.

If that depressing thought isn’t enough to get you there, I don’t know what is.
