Probiotics can be found in yogurt, fermented foods, or supplements, but they are integral to maintaining a healthy digestive tract. So here are a few little known facts about probiotics so you have a better understanding of how this beneficial bacteria should fit into your life.

Probiotics are good for immunity. 70% of your immune system is in your digestive tract, and probiotics play a huge part in keeping that part of your body healthy.

All in all, the science behind probiotics is pretty solid, so if you are having issues in your gut, or are concerned about your immune system, consuming more probiotics might be the answer you’re looking for.
